Port Wine

Australian Tawny, formerly known as Port, has the edge over its Portuguese forebears by being decidedly richer, sweeter and more flavourful. Barossa Valley's Penfolds set a new global standard with their magnificent Grandfather Tawny, while Penfolds Club Port offers a similarly mellow and consistent finish at the more affordable end of the spectrum. That's not to overlook Australia's other excellent fortified wines available from Taphouse Cellars, including Ruby Port and barrel-aged Vintage Port from McWilliams and De Bortoli.
